Film Review:
The film that I have chosen to do the film review, it isn’t the last film I saw, but is one of the films that I liked; this film is Step up Revolution. I’ve watched it at home when premiered. It is the fourth installment of Step Up films. The director of the film is Scott Speer.
Step Up revolution it’s a dance and romantic film target to teenagers and all of dance lovers. The facts of this film happen in Miami, and it’s about a girl, Emily who dreams succeeding in the dance, and she and her father moves to Miami where he had a hotel. At Emily’s father’s hotel works Sean and Eddy, two friends that with their friends have a dance team called THE MOB, who create great choreographies to win a YouTube contest. Sean meets Emily at the beach club of her father’s hotel and they start dancing together and fall in love. Emily was practicing a choreography to join a professional dance academy when Sean appears and saw how well her dance, so he decides to invite Emily to see the next choreography that he and his friends were preparing. After seeing the last THE MOB’s choreography at a museum, Emily decides to join with them. The Mob accepts the incorporation of Emily in the group after Sean talks to Eddy and the rest of the group. Sean helps to prepare Emily for her first choreography with them, finally she is up to the rest band members, who performed a beautiful choreography. Finally Emily achieved enter to THE MOB. The next day, they receive a letter where it says that they will have to leave the area because Emily’s father wants to build a resort area. A source of this news, Emily raises a new choreography in the town hall a source of protest. THE MOB does another choreography and with this, they achieve more than six million visits on YouTube and all the people thank as the effort that they made to save the district. Meanwhile Emily alongside Sean continue practicing his audition to join at the Dance School. During the rehearsal, Eddy discovers that Emily is the daughter of Andersen, the man who wants to build a resort area, and he says to the other members of the group. Eddy and the others except Sean, performs a choreography to disturb the presentation of the project. When Emily saws it, believes that Sean was behind the choreography and she gets angry with him, also, disqualify them of the competition and Sean and Eddy gets angry and the group splits. Finally they reconcile, THE MOB rejoins and they do a choreography with more people to be heard and stop the construction of the resort. Finally THE MOB get stop the construction and Sean and Emily ends up together.
I like so much this film because it transmits a lot of energy and positivity and shows the values of fighting for what you want or dream. I think that all the choreographies are incredible and the music and the special effects are very good too.I saw all the installments of this film because I love dancing and this film has a lot of choreography and the music and I would recommend this film to everybody who likes dance and music.
